Job Description

Responsible for answering dealer questions regarding ordering opportunities, sales programs and inventory availability information. Receive and process orders and manage program discrepancies.  Maintain/Manage detailed reporting regarding inventory planning and wholesale data.  Develop sales bulletins and administer incentive programs offered to dealers, distributors, salespeople, and customers. Primary responsibility is order entry and administering and maintaining incentive and co-op programs.  Maintain co-op advertising program, includes monitoring of system to ensure accurate display of information to dealer network.

1.      Maintain/Manage programs as assigned by management with focus on order entry, set-up, administration, maintenance.  Including funding of incentive and co-op programs.  Priority, maintain/manage sales order entry, incentives, and co-op).  Develop/Manage inventory and daily sales tracking tool for OPE/MPE

2.      Develop, set-up and maintain sales bulletins and programs.  Review/update of Co-op Advertising guidelines as needed. Requires investigating Co-op Advertising guidelines for competitor brands and recommending any needed changes to make Yamaha’s program competitive.

3.      Receive and process program discrepancies received from dealer, OEM, salesperson or customers. Communicate, both oral and written, to dealers, salespeople and customers regarding discrepancies or other requests submitted for current and past programs

4.      Answer dealer, distributor, and OEM calls during normal business hours for sales Order Entry, Incentives, and Co-Op . Input calls (incoming and outgoing) into the contact management system (Seibel) at the time of call to maintain dealer, salesperson and customer contact history.

5.      Input calls into the contact management system at the time of call to maintain dealer contact history.  Responsible for system set-up of accrual and funding programs and monitoring to ensure accuracy of data displayed.

6.      Communicate, both oral and written, to dealer network of current and past program details and results on incentive programs. 

7.      Provide program summary and detail reporting to management, field staff and internal support groups.  Monitor dealer/distributor/account inventory and provide recommendations for production orders.  Prioritize work and develop a plan of action to keep claims processing within required perimeters.

8.      Act as liaison with internal departments (ex: ISD, YDS) and outside vendors for system/program requests & troubleshooting as needed.  Oversee Co-op Claims appeals process, including approval/denial decision making authority and making recommendations to management as needed

Job Requirements

§  High school education or higher with 2-3 years work experience. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail necessary.

§  Experience with IBM PC, Excel, Word and Access programs required.

§  Expected to perform job duties which require considerable judgment and initiative with limited supervision.

§  Heavy telephone response area requiring strong customer service skills.

§  Must be detailed oriented and ability to multi-task

§  Must be self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
