**IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Machine Operators in the NEW Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Division of Whelen Engineering** Be a part of a break-through in manufacturing in a world class, innovative facility!

We are seeking Machine Operators to work three 12-hour shifts:

Friday/Saturday/Sunday-3:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 3:30 AM

Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 4:00 PM to 3:30 AM

~These are temp to hire opportunities offering great pay and benefits including paid time off and paid holidays~  


Technician responsible for performing functions associated with all PCB FABRICATION manufacturing operations


•         Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibrations, and set-ups on a wide variety of PCB process equipment

•         Operates process equipment and performs job movement transactions

•         Performs shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions as needed

•         Performs process water recycling and emissions control functions as needed

•         Failure Analysis

•         Uses available tools to aid in troubleshooting

•         Assists outside vendors and process engineers on specifications

•         Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure to strict deadlines, and complete projects on own initiative

•         Perform rework and quality testing related to the process, and production of printed circuit boards

•         Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment or processes

•         Completes various department data entry and paperwork

•         Follows the facilities and departments safety rules; utilizes proper personal protective equipment and reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor

•         Serve as a trainer for areas in which employee is certified to requisite advanced level

Job Requirements

  • Must have prior manufacturing experience and have a solid work history of three years or more
  • Prior circuit board experience is preferred but not required
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude and be able to troubleshoot
  • Must be able to multi-task, take initiative and work independently
  • Must have the ability to read and understand written instructions
  • Must be comfortable working on your feet for 12 hours
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a positive, upbeat attitude
  • Must have an enthusiastic, energetic, motivated mindset
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
